MOLY Homes was founded in 2021 by Mona Kamel, who brings a rich background in design and construction spanning back to 2003. Her experience includes developing medical offices, hospitality spaces, and residential homes across the US and the Middle East.

Inspired by solar roof shingles advertisement, Mona took a significant step forward in 2021 by building her first net-zero home, which became the second net-zero home certified by the Department of Energy in Vienna, Virginia.
